Job Description:
WSA - Called "Web Technologist/ Developer" in this survey. Responsible for maintaining internal/external company web pages. May include re-formatting of text, assuring hyperlink integrity, and translating and posting of new material to the page involving HTML scripting. Compiles, analyzes, and reports statistics regarding "hits" on the web site. Assists in maintaining security processes. Interacts heavily with other departments in the maintenance of their web page material. Answers questions from site visitors; re-directs mail to appropriate person. Typically requires a degree and 2 or more years related experience.

Milliman & Robertson - Designs, installs, operates, and administers WWW site. Specifies, installs, and configures UNIX based computers. May administer UNIX, NT, indexed file, and SQL database systems. Performs HTML coding. Designs web pages, forms, and navigation schema. Gathers, manipulates, and inputs graphics, text, and other elements for interactive display on the Web. Utilizes programming and scripting skills to establish common gateway interfaces and/or application programming interfaces among various sites, softwares and databases.
