Fund Raising Update: WE MADE IT!!!

A Big Thanks to Everyone Who Helped!

Total Raised: $12,789

It was a struggle for awhile. After having no donations over the past weekend, some thought we had reached our limit at around $7,800. What would we do to get the rest? But, we didn't give up hope. We asked every day this week, and raised the remaining $4,200 - plus another $800 on top of it; a total of $5,000 in one week! Congratulate yourselves on a job well done (see chart below for state totals).

What's next? We need to grow our supporter and membership totals. If you haven't joined WashTech as a dues-paying, union member yet, do so right here. If you're already a member, or can't afford to become one, then please tell five friends to subscribe to WashTech News click here. There is power in numbers; together, we are stronger.

I was ready to donate, only to discover you don't accept Discover card. I only use Discover card for the reason to defy the monoply of Visa and MasterCard. Here we are trying to defy the H-1B's misuse. If you could add Discovercard to your acceptance list, you can count on my support. Thanks. Sincerely, Alex Chang

I love the ad. It artistically captures the bleak fate of many American careers that we have all witnessed during the last few years while our labor market has been getting flooded with guestworkers. This noir rendition says it all. And the text hits like bullets.
